Ar rahman is going to conduct a free concert. Not in India but in Australia. He is going to perform at Sydney festival. Academy award winning music director Mr. Ar rahman will be performing in a free concert at parramatta park on Saturday 16 January as part of the 2010 festival program. Sydney festival is one of the biggest cultural festival in Australia. It will have a mix of dance , art, music. Ar rahman's concert on Sydney festival will reduce the tension arose due to the racist attacks on Indians.

Sare gama has acquired the rights for music for the film couples retreat. Ar rahman has composed music for the film couples retreat. This is his first international project after the academy award winning film slumdog millionaire. Already the music is a great hit.

He is going to release a album with nursery rhymes.The album will contain the compositions of his students at KM music conservatory at chennaiand a final touch up by AR rahman. Fever 104 fm ropes in AR rahman for a contest

Fever 104 FM, the official partner of the Jai ho concert has roped in Mr. Rahman for a singing contest. The concert will be organised at salt lake on November 14 2009. The winner of the contest will sing with AR rahman.

The contest will test their singing skills. The contestants have to call an IVRS number and sing their favourite rahman song. Fever 104 FM will pick five best in the city. They will meet AR rahman and audition with Ar rahman.

After an enthralling chennai concert, Ar rahman is going to perform in another concert at hyderabad. Chennai concert was attended by more than 75,000 people. Hyderabad concert is expected to be attended by 50,000 people.

GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd.(GHIAL), will be hosting Oscar award winner A.R.Rahman’s ‘Jai Ho’ Concert on Saturday, October 24th,2009. The event will be organized by Rapport Global Events and Wizcraft, and held at a specially created ‘GMR Arena’ near the Novotel Hyderabad Airport, just two kilometers away from the airport.
