raavan's rights sold for 350 crores

Maniratnam's trilingual film ( raavan, ravanan, villain ) is the present big news in Indian cinema. Already there is a huge expectation for the film beacause of rejoining of superstars - ar rahman and mani ratnam. Music of raavan, ravanan and villain had done great in the market paving a highway to victory for the film.

Raavan film's rights has been sold for over 350 crores. The film will hit the screens on june 18 world wide and is expected to do well in the box office and national awards too.
Infact the televison rights for the raavan movie has banked another 86 crores for big pictures. The deal is that the raavan movie will be telecasted in the colors tv after a month for which they have paid 90 odd crores.

Komaram puli song's release date

Komram puli film is in the re-recording process and it is heard that ar rahman has come up with some extraordinary tunes for that telugu film. Songs of komaram puli can hit the stores at the end of this month likely. Film can be expected to hit the screens in the mid june. Ar Rahman, tamilnadu's 'namma veetu pillai'

Entire tamil community hailed ar rahman in the, world tamil conference theme song releasing ceremony. Tm. soundarajan remembered the childhood rahman and shared some moments. Then mr. karunanidhi praised ar rahman for winning coveted awards and for bringing honor to tamil community. Mr. karunanidhi shared some moments about ar rahman's victory over Oscar's with the audience. Mr. karunanidhi called ar rahman as 'namma veetu pilai'. Mr. karunanidhi also informed gathering how the music of ar rahman kept him awake for a day. During the function the song was played to the gathering.
'Semmozhiyana tamil mozhiyam' line in the song is just awesome. It is also the favorite line in the song for ar rahman. It is like 'maa tujhe salam' in vande mataram.

Naan varuven is the new song added to ravanan film. Ar rahman felt the need for that song and added this song. This song is called 'udd jaa re' in the hindi version of the 'raavan'. Ar rahman's 'bombay dreams' to hit big screens

'Bombay dreams', broadway musical by andrew llyod webber with music by ar rahman is set to hit the big screens shortly. Deepa mehta will direct the film which is produced by marquee pictures. 'Bombay dreams' ran for two consecutive years and it was a great hit among the audiences. In the film adaptation too we can expect ar rahman to wield his skills.

Ar rahman's udd jha re in raavan

Ar rahman may have surprised every one by singing 'Udd jha re' which didn't find its lace in the music album. The truth is, ar rahman found that there is a place for another song. the lyrics was ready and he then scored music for that lyrics. The music can be expected to find it's place in the album in the informal music launch of ravanan in tamil. This function is going to be held tomorrow in 'lady andal school', chennai. However if udd jaa re doesn't make it into the album tomorrow, it would find a place in the movie. coolest part of ' udd jaa re' is, Ar rahman himself has rendered his voice for the song. raheema to be discharged

Good news for rahmaniacs is raheema, daughter of ar rahman is going to be discharged from bandra's asian heart institute.

Rahman in his face book update says, “For the past 3 nights, I have been playing a loving father to my daughter. No music, nothing. I want to sincerely thank all my friends and family members for their prayers and good wishes. God has been kind and Raheema is recovering fast.”

“I also want to thank all my friends from the media for their support and understanding of the situation and for respecting our privacy,” he adds.
According to some sources, Raheema is now out of danger and can be discharged from hospital in 24 hours.
Pray god for speed recovery of raheema.....

Ar rahman is going to don a stylish look with a hat in his upcoming Jai ho world tour. He wanted to have a contemporary yet Indian feel. So he has chosen this style. GV prakash kumar sings for his uncle, ar rahman

After a gap of 17 years GV prakash kumar has sung a song for his uncle and legendary music composer Ar rahman. He had sung the famous tamil song 'chikku bukku raile' in gentleman film. He also had lent his voice to many back ground themes for his uncle. Now he is again lending his voice for his uncle's song for "Ulaga tamil manadu" - ' world tamil conference'.
