Ravan goes to T series

Ar rahman's next tamil film ravan's musical rights goes to T-series. T-series managed to get the rights with stiff competition from sony music. Ravan is a trilingual film starring Abhishek bachan, Vikram and Aishwarya rai in lead roles. The film is directed by ar rahman's mentor mr. mani ratnam whose picturisation of ar rahman songs has always a great section fans.
Ravan's music will be released on april 24th. film can be expected to be out in theatres on may end or june......

Ar rahman's tune for World tamil conference

As we know earlier, ar rahman is to set tune for the theme music for world tamil conference whose lyrics will be penned by cheif minister himself. Good news is that the rough tune is ready and we can expect that to hit net any time at the end of this month..
The song will start with a nice line in tamil, " pirapokkum ella uyirkkum" which means all are same by birth.

Roja to ravan

'Roja to ravan' this is a journey of a modest composer who transformed himself into a pearl of India during this journey. Once he was a shy, modest, composer Mr. dileep kumar who is now Ar rahman with oscars, grammies, bafta, golden globe, and many such awards to his credit. He is a global icon who has a great number of followers (rahmaniacs) all over the world.
Infact a book titled 'Roja to ravan' is to be released with the music of ravan may be in the month of may. This book is a record of that magical journey of Ar rahman. I am waitin for it to hit the stands early as possible......!
